A woman was on Wednesday arraigned in a Nairobi court for allegedly printing and selling fake birth and death certificates at her house in Kawangware area. The suspect, Jackline Kwamboka Abuga, was charged with the offence of forgery. She was arrested following a trap laid by DCI detectives attached to the Immigration department. “The suspect has been printing the birth & death certificates at her house in Kawangare & selling them to unsuspecting Kenyans. She was arrested a few days ago after detectives laid a trap for her,” said the DCI in a tweet. A computer, printer, seal for civil registrations and other assorted documents were recovered from her house in Kawangware area. According to the DCI, investigations are at an advanced stage to have all those involved in the fake certificates syndicate nabbed. By Citizen Reporter For Citizen Digital
